Psalm 149 reads: “Praise the Lord with Dance,” Studio 149 exists to do just that. Studio 149 is a non-for-profit dance ministry offering affordable dance lessons and scholarships for anyone who desires to experience this awe-inspiring art form. Students have the opportunity to perform, compete, and dance in worship services throughout the community. In addition, our students have the opportunity to participate in Ballet Productions such as Peter and the Wolf. The volunteer staff and teachers seize their positions as instructors and Christian role models to each and every student. recreational dancers to also thrive in ministry, academically, in other art forms, and sports. There are countless benefits to be trained in the art of dance. Students gain confidence, self-discipline, patience, flexibility, strength, etiquette, poise and so much more. These characteristics will overflow into all avenues of their lives. What sets Studio 149 apart from other prestigious dance schools is that we have a love for Jesus. We believe that all dance should be pleasing to our God who created such a gift. It is through this art form that we share the love of Jesus and the Gospel. Studio 149 offers classes for students who are 3 years of age through adult in Ballet, Modern, Lyrical, and Tap. |
